Main criteria for obtaining residence permit in Georgia on the basis of investment
Georgia provides for the possibility of obtaining a residence permit (residence permit) on the basis of investments in the country's economy. There are several investment options for obtaining a residence permit:

Investment in real estate:
- Amount of investment: Purchase of real estate (except agricultural land) in the amount of at least 300,000 USD.
- Duration of residence permit: Initially, a temporary residence permit is issued for a period of 5 years.
- Renewal conditions: If the real estate remains in the ownership of the investor during these 5 years, after the expiration of this period, you can apply for a permanent residence permit.
Business investment:
- Investment amount: An investment of at least 300,000 USD in a Georgian company.
- Company turnover requirements: First year - not less than 50,000 USD.
- Second year - not less than 100,000 USD. Third, fourth and fifth years - not less than 120,000 USD annually.
- Duration of residence permit: Temporary residence permit for 5 years with the possibility of obtaining a permanent residence permit if the above conditions are met.
What documents are required:
- Foreign passport.
- Documents confirming the investment (e.g. real estate sale and purchase agreement or business investment documents).
- Letters of recommendation from three Georgian citizens who are directors of Georgian companies.
- Address of residence.
- Photograph (taken when submitting documents at the House of Justice).
- State duty payment receipt (to be paid when submitting documents at the House of Justice).
